General Information

Teams Arriving Friday Night

The clubhouse will be open from 5pm on Friday night for teams staying for the full two nights. The bar will be open and food will be on sale from 5pm with entertainment in the marquee kicking off at around 7.30pm. The clubhouse and bar will close at 1am.

Showers

There are showering facilities at the club. Sorry, we cannot provide constant hot water throughout the weekend. To try to make sure hot water is available, please observe the shower hours. Details will be available on the doors of the changing rooms and in the clubhouse.

Transport

Parking is limited at the club, so please bring as few cars as possible. It is not possible to park your cars by your tent so please park in your allocated space and carry your things to your camping site. This is all on the same training pitch so is not far away!

Camping

Each team will be allocated an area for camping. These will be marked out for you so please bring as few tents as possible due to the numbers wishing to camp. Please let me know roughly how many tents you will be bringing so we can size an area accordingly. Please do not use the spare camping areas on the Friday night as these are reserved for teams who are camping on the Saturday night only.

Entertainment

There will be a karaoke and disco in the marquee on Friday night, and live band in the marquee on Saturday night and karoke in the clubhouse on Saturday night with ‘team theme’ fancy dress. The team with the best costume will win a prize to be presented with the tournament prizes on Sunday.
The clubhouse bar will close at 1.30am and the marquee bar will close at 2am.

Food and Drink

Breakfast (bacon rolls, tea and coffee) will be on sale in the clubhouse from 8.00am on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a BBQ from lunchtime on Saturday and Sunday selling burgers and sausages. Sandwiches will be on sale in the clubhouse all day. Hot food will be available in the evenings (lasagne, chilli, curry, hot roast pork/roast beef rolls and jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings). Drinks will be on sale from the bar in the clubhouse and also from the bar near the BBQ area. All food and drink is freshly made and good value.

First Aid

First aid cover will be provided at the event but we would request that all teams bring adequate first aid supplies/qualified 1st aider.

Souvenir T-shirts

T-shirts will be on sale at the 7s for those wanting a souvenir of what is set to be a fabulous weekend.

Our t-shirt sponsors Terrasport will have a stand on Saturday and Sunday selling a wide range of rugby clothing and equipment.

Camp Fires/Bar-b-ques

For safety reasons no camp fires or bar-b-ques will be permitted at the club. Please observe this as we do not want any problems should the club volunteers ask you to stop bar-b-quing.

Valuables

Please leave all items of value at home. Your belongings are your own responsibility over the weekend.

Nottingham Casuals RFC is not liable for any damages or losses to personal possessions.
